TRADITIONAL “urumi melam” musicians in the country are facing a tough time because all the major Hindu temples have cancelled Thaipusam celebrations this year, Makkal Osai reported.
Malaysian Urumi Melam Isai Iyakkam’s Selangor branch chairman CR Ragu Ramu said hundreds of musicians, including himself, had been affected by it.
