Melaka cops cracking down on fireworks

MELAKA: Police here have confiscated RM500,000 worth of fireworks and arrested eight people for selling fireworks illegally.

State police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali said five men were arrested in Batu Berendam and Ayer Keroh on Monday, and RM150,000 of various types of fireworks was seized.
