PETALING JAYA: Cabinet ministers returning from official trips abroad will only observe three-day quarantine if they fulfil certain conditions, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
“Before they depart, they need to submit an application to the Cabinet and once that is approved, we will look at their official business listed in their schedule as well as standard operating procedure, ” he said, adding a risk assessment would be conducted once the application and a minister’s travel itinerary is submitted.
