ALOR SETAR: An elderly couple living in a ramshackle house will now have a pleasant Chinese New Year after kind souls helped to give their home a makeover.

The couple never dreamed that people were willing to help restore their termite-ridden and leaky home in Tokai, Simpang Empat, near here.
