MELAKA: Melaka Historic City Council (MBMB) mayor Datuk Zainal Abu and Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council (MPHTJ) president Datuk Shadan Othman have lodged separate police reports against scammers for faking their identities in attempts to cheat the public.
Both reports were lodged on Wednesday (Feb 17) after unknown individuals had fraudulently misused their WhatsApp profile pictures to solicit funds as well as attempt to borrow money from locals.
