Ministry to help the elderly and disabled register for vaccination

SEPANG: The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry will assist target groups such as senior citizens and people with disabilities to register for Covid-19 vaccination.

Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun said her ministry had also asked the government to give vulnerable groups such as senior citizens priority in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme because they were in the high-risk category.

“We will help facilitate the registration because it is important that everyone gets vaccinated so that we can return to normal life, ” she told the media after visiting Pusat Jagaan dan Rawatan Orang Tua Al-Ikhlas here yesterday.
