Kundasang senior citizen who lived in ‘sulap’ gets new home

KOTA KINABALU: A 62-year-old widow, who was living in a ‘sulap’ (hut) in Kundasang, Ranau, is now living in a proper house, thanks to gotong-royong efforts among Kampung Lembah Permai villagers.

The move was initiated by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam, who is also Kundasang assemblyman, together with Ranau MP Jonathan Yasin following Gorimeh Gumat’s predicament that was recently highlighted on social media.
