PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional is blaming one of its secretariat officers for mistakenly releasing an unapproved statement by coalition chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi that the coalition would appeal to the King for a Parliament sitting as soon as possible.
The officer has been suspended for a month, according to the party’s executive secretary Mohd Sahfri Ab Aziz.
