KUALA LUMPUR: A last-minute supporting affidavit on the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) money trail has been struck out by the High Court in a RM114mil forfeiture suit filed by the government against Obyu Holdings Sdn Bhd.
This is following a decision by presiding judge Justice Muhammad Jamil Hussin to allow an application by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Umno to strike out the affidavit brought forth by the prosecution in the suit.
Najib and Umno are third party claimants in the forfeiture suit involving Obyu Holdings.
