Court rejects last-minute supporting affidavit linked to 1MDB funds

KUALA LUMPUR: A last-minute supporting affidavit on the money trail of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) has been struck out by the High Court in a RM114mil forfeiture suit filed by the government against Obyu Holdings Sdn Bhd.

This followed a decision by presiding judge Justice Muhammad Jamil Hussin to allow an application by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Umno to strike out the affidavit brought forth by the prosecution in the suit.
