Police reports lodged against touts within legal fraternity, agents, says KL Bar


PETALING JAYA: Police reports have been lodged against those who illegally solicit clients at magistrates’ courts, says the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee in its efforts to eradicate touting.

"Several police reports have been lodged against members and agents, where we are currently following up with the Attorney General's Chambers pertaining to prosecution of criminal charges against these people," it said in a statement issued Tuesday (March 16).
