WWF-Malaysia commends Sabah Forestry's efforts on recent arrests in Kalabakan

KOTA KINABALU: WWF-Malaysia has commended the Sabah Forestry Department's (SFD) efforts in protecting wildlife and the forest following its recent raid at the Sapulut Forest Reserve in Kalabakan, where 14 suspects were arrested.

WWF-Malaysia’s Head of Conservation Sabah Dr Robecca Jumin said they now urged the Sabah Wildlife Department, which is conducting investigations into the matter, to ensure a fair and just investigation is carried out and the punishment meted out will be equivalent to the severity of the crime.
