Three schools closed in Sibu due to Covid-19 cases


SIBU: SK Abang Ali and SK St Mary here have been ordered to close temporarily till the end of the mid-term holiday on April 3 due to a Covid-19 spike in their local areas.

Sibu Divisional Disaster Management Committee said the two schools - in Zone 9 Awang Ramli Amit and Zone 10 Kampung Dato which became red zones after the recent increase in Covid-19 cases from the Jalan Awang cluster with 52 cases and Jalan Kampung Hilir cluster with 43 cases respectively.
