Two rescued from gold mine in Bau, Sarawak, one still trapped

The third victim remains trapped in a shaft said to be 80m deep.

KUCHING: Two men have been rescued from a gold mine in Gunung Tabai in Bau near here, while a third man is still trapped.

Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department director Khirudin Drahman said the two rescued men, who suffered minor bruises, were brought out at about 4.40pm on Wednesday (March 24).
