Placing border security agency under police will curb illegal entry of foreigners more effectively, says PM

KUALA LUMPUR: Placing the Malaysian Border Security Agency (Aksem) under the police's General Operations Force (GOF) will curb the illegal entry of foreigners more effectively, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The Prime Minister said the change is part of the government's efforts to restructure and strengthen border security strategy in a holistic manner.
