MMEA foils attempt to smuggle drugs worth RM3.8mil in Muar waters


JOHOR BARU: An attempt to smuggle some RM3.8mil worth of drugs near Parit Amat in Muar waters was foiled by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) following a public tip-off.

Johor MMEA director First Admiral Nurul Hizam Zakaria said that the fibre boat ferrying 69kg of drugs believed to be syabu was seized at about 11.20am on Thursday (March 25).
