11 tonnes of vegetables from China seized due to labelling errors


ISKANDAR PUTERI: More than 11 tonnes of imported vegetables worth nearly RM80,000 were seized by the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Department (Maqis) at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas here.

Johor Maqis director Nur Afifah A. Rahman said the vegetables were imported from China and were seized during a routine inspection at the port at about 5pm on Wednesday (March 31).
