KUCHING: Sarawak reported its highest daily figure of Covid-19 cases with 555 on Friday (April 9), more than half involving close contacts of patients.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said 292 of the new cases were close contacts with positive cases while 124 were detected through the screening of individuals in active clusters.
