PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal was told that what had happened to the RM4bil loaned by the Retirement Fund Inc (KWAP) to SRC International Sdn Bhd was a theft and not a misappropriation of funds by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Najib’s lawyer Harvinderjit Singh said this yesterday to a three-man bench when he was asked by one of the judges as to who made the decision to move monies out of SRC International, a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
