AS the Ramadan month starts, authorities in Kedah will be monitoring 71 restaurants that have been identified as hotspots for those who intend to skip fasting, Sinar Harian reported.
State religious, education and human resource exco member Datuk Najmi Ahmad said 200 enforcement officers from the state and district religious departments had been assigned to monitor the restaurants.
