Police inspector, three other cops arrested for alleged extortion


JOHOR BARU: A police inspector and three other policemen have been arrested for allegedly extorting money from a 50-year-old furniture factory manager in Batu Pahat.

“The suspects, aged between 26 and 46, were arrested last Thursday (April 8) at about 6.15pm after the victim lodged a police report at the Johor police headquarters on the case, ” said Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.
