Honeymooning couple jailed a day, fined RM2,500 for providing false info to cops


KUALA LUMPUR: A married couple who crossed state borders to Johor for their honeymoon were sentenced to a day’s jail and fined RM2,500 by the Magistrate’s Court for giving false information to the police last month.

According to Sinar Harian, Iram Naz Hafiz Sabir Muhammed, 24, and her husband Azharique Shah Abdul Jalil, 23, were sentenced after pleading guilty to Magistrate Wong Chai Sia.
