King urges Malaysians to pray for Palestinians


PETALING JAYA (Bernama): Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has decreed that mosques, surau and Muslims in the country hold solat hajat prayers after Maghrib on Monday (May 17) to ask for the protection and wellbeing of the Palestinian people.

Istana Negara said in a statement on Sunday (May 16) the King urged Malaysians to always be in solidarity with Palestine towards achieving the aspiration of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state.
