PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has issued a directive for private hospitals to increase their beds in wards and intensive care units to treat Covid-19 patients.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a letter dated May 20 to the private hospitals said that the Health Ministry needed the cooperation of private hospitals following an increase in the number of Covid-19 patients.
