‘Zahid abused position’


SHAH ALAM: The prosecution in former deputy prime minister and home minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s graft trial told the High Court here that the accused used his tenure in office to reap financial benefits.

“Throughout the four years he was the home minister, the accused had taken the opportunity of his position to amass wealth, ’’ said DPP Datuk Raja Rozela Raja Toran, who is heading the prosecution team.
