Endau firemen in five-hour battle to put out blaze at row of wooden shoplots

MERSING: The Fire and Rescue Department has been battling a fire at a row of wooden shoplots in Endau here for more than five hours.

Endau Fire and Rescue Department chief Mohd Alias Hussin said 51 firemen and seven fire trucks have been fighting to extinguish the blaze at Jalan Dato Mohd Ali, Kampung Tanjong here, since responding to an emergency call at 5.49am on Monday (May 31).
