Over 800 laboratories cannot operate without clearance

GEORGE TOWN: Some 800 laboratories in the country are in a bind as they have not been given clearance by the International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) to operate during the lockdown.

This means that they are not able to certify and roll out into the market items such as food, medical devices and pharmaceutical products.
