KUALA LUMPUR: The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) has warned the public to be on their toes against Macau scammers posing as its officers as 556 such cases have already been recorded this year.
Based on information by the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department, between Jan 1 and May 27, cases where Macau scammers pretended to be LHDN officers had resulted in RM15.26mil in losses.
