Durian party: Cops record statements of 15 people, including Deputy Speaker


BATU PAHAT (Bernama): Police have recorded the statements of 15 individuals, including Batu Pahat MP Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon, to aid investigations over a video showing group of people allegedly flouted standard operating procedure (SOP) at a durian orchard here.

Batu Pahat police chief ACP Ismail Dollah said Mohd Rashid, who is also the Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker, turned up to give his statement at the Batu Pahat district police headquarters on at 3pm on Thursday.
