Raub Magistrate's Court grants two-day remand for 18 people detained in durian plantation ops

KUANTAN: The Raub Magistrate's Court has granted two-day remand orders for 18 people detained in an operation against illegal durian plantations at a permanent forest reserve here.

The detainees' lawyer, Chan Yen Hui, said the Forestry Department initially applied for a four-day remand as they needed more time to record the statements from the 18 detainees.
