Covid-19: 42 Sungai Petani hospital workers infected, undetermined if viruses are variants

ALOR SETAR: A total of 42 healthcare workers at Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital (HSAH) have contracted Covid-19 as of Friday (July 9), but there is no confirmation on if these involve coronavirus variants.

"There is still no confirmation if they contracted variants of concern or of interest," said Kedah Health Department director Dr Othman Warijo.
