MEF: Regular swab tests on workers proving to be too costly


PETALING JAYA: Compelling manufacturers in enhanced movement control order areas to carry out Covid-19 tests for their workers twice a week is costly and ineffective, says the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF).

Its president Datuk Dr Syed Hussain Syed Husman (pic) said the latest directive by the International Trade and Industry Ministry for manufacturing companies to test their workers regularly should not be implemented.
