PETALING JAYA: Having turned 96 on Saturday (July 10), Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's birthday wish is for Malaysia to reach its goal of becoming a developed nation.

Dr Mahathir - who is the country's longest serving prime minister having held the position from 1981 to 2003 and then from May 2018 to February 2020 - also expressed his gratitude for being given the time and opportunity to serve the nation.
