Covid-19: Johor to expedite vaccination of imam, bilal and mosque, surau committee members to avoid clusters


JOHOR BARU: The Johor government wants to avoid any new Covid-19 clusters from emerging during Hari Raya Haji celebrations, which will take place on Tuesday (July 20).

State Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman Tosrin Jarvanthi said the government has agreed and decided during its executive council meeting on Wednesday (July 14) that all imam, bilal and mosque and surau committee members be given the Covid-19 vaccine immediately.
