Covid-19: 24 Indonesians fined RM2,000 each for breaching SOPs at Hari Raya Haji gathering


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Twenty-four Indonesians, including a woman, were fined RM2,000 each in default of three months' imprisonment by the Selayang Magistrate’s Court here Wednesday (July 28), for violating Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) by gathering in conjunction with Hari Raya Haji celebrations.

Magistrate Nur Hafizah Rajuni meted out the punishment after they all pleaded guilty to the charge.
