KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Muhammad Helmi Abdullah has been appointed as the new director-general of the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), effective last Sunday (Aug 1).
MetMalaysia, in a statement today said that the appointment of Muhammad Helmi, 57, was to replace Jailan Simon who retired on July 31.
