PETALING JAYA: While the Federal Constitution does not actually mention or refer to the formation of a minority government, it could be done via a Confidence and Supply Agreement, says Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said (pic).
The Deputy Dewan Rakyat Speaker said however that a sitting prime minister could not simply declare that he was now the Prime Minister of a minority government after he had lost majority support in Parliament.
