PUTRAJAYA: The day after a caretaker government took over Malaysia’s administration saw the country’s civil service running without a hitch. With no ministers or deputy ministers in charge, the day-to-day workings of the government are helmed by ministry secretaries- general and department heads.

Chief Secretary to the government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali chaired a virtual meeting yesterday with ministry heads and reminded them to ensure that there were no disruptions in its daily dealings.
