Covid-19: 75 positive cases in Pulau Perhentian, 1,124 residents compelled to get tested


KUALA TERENGGANU (Bernama): A total of 1,124 residents in Pulau Perhentian have been compelled to undergo swab tests conducted by the state Health Department since Friday to curb the Covid-19 spike in the popular resort island.

State Health director Datuk Dr Kasemani Embong said the swab tests involving almost 70% of the islanders were expected to be completed later Wednesday (Aug 25).
