JOHOR BARU: The spike in new Covid-19 cases in Johor to 2,785 on Thursday (Aug 26) was due to a backlog of cases, says state Health and Environment Committee chairman R. Vidyananthan.
He said that 57.9%, or 1,613, of the new cases reported on Thursday were cases from more than four days ago.
