Teachers refusing vaccine to be given other assignments

YAN: A total of 2,500 teachers who have refused to be vaccinated will receive other assignments since they will not be allowed to conduct in person classes when school reopens.Senior Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin said there are other tasks the teachers can do.

“At the same time, we are discussing measures or ways to approach them with the Public Service Department (JPA)... InshaAllah (God willing), I will be contacting some of the teachers myself,” he told a press conference at SK Haji Nyak Gam yesterday after visiting the site of a water surge incident on Aug 18 in Yan district.
