Ahmad Azam appointed as special advisor to facilitate humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, says Saifuddin

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Commissioner to the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Datuk Ahmad Azam Ab Rahman has been appointed as the Foreign Minister’s special advisor on Afghanistan.

Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah (pic) said with his extensive network with non-profit organisations (NGO) and Muslim leaders worldwide, Ahmad Azam will be able to help in facilitating Malaysian NGOs’ humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
