Covid-19: Vaccination rate for 12 to 17-year-olds surpasses initial target, says Deputy Health Minister


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A total of 1,967,549 (or 62.5% of the total) adolescents aged 12 to 17 years old in Malaysia have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine as at Tuesday (Oct 5), exceeding the initial target set.

Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali (pic) said the total number of first dose recipients included 343,231 (90.9%) of 16-year-old teenagers and 344,933 (92.8%) of schooling adolescents aged 17.
