Fire and Rescue put out shophouse fire in George Town, one victim feared trapped


GEORGE TOWN: An unidentified person is feared to have been trapped in a shophouse fire at Jalan Krian on Friday (Oct 8).

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said that in the 3.34pm incident, firemen from the Jalan Perak, Paya Terubong and Lebuh Pantai fire stations were deployed to the scene to contain the fire.
