Health Ministry: Study shows Ivermectin does not prevent severe cases of Covid-19


PETALING JAYA: A clinical study conducted by the Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) shows that the anti-viral drug Ivermectin does not prevent severe cases of Covid-19, says the Health Ministry.

In a statement on Wednesday (Nov 4), Health director-general Tan Sri Noor Hisham Abdullah said the study (I-Tech) was conducted on 500 patients hospitalised for Covid-19 in Stage 2 or 3.
