Court of Appeal sets Feb 23 date for decision on Anwar's bid to reinstate Sodomy 2 lawsuit


PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has fixed Feb 23 next year to deliver its decision in a civil suit brought by Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is seeking to reinstate his lawsuit against the government relating to his Sodomy 2 conviction.

The date was set after a three-man panel chaired by Justice Lee Swee Seng heard submissions from Anwar's lawyer Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram, and Senior Federal Counsel Suzana Atan who represented the government.
