MMEA seize 75 'bubu naga' fish traps in waters off Penang


GEORGE TOWN: The Penang branch of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) seized 75 “bubu naga” fish traps about 3.7 to 4.7 nautical miles west of Sungai Kerian here on Tuesday (Nov 16).

The agency's director Capt Abd Razak Mohamed (pic) said the traps were seized during a routine check under Op Pertiwi in Penang waters between 3.40pm and 6pm.
