JOHOR BARU: Two former lovers escaped the gallows after they were acquitted of drug possession and distribution charges by the High Court here on Monday (Nov 22).
Mobile phone salesman Goo Woei Tye, 33, was cleared of five charges and his ex-girlfriend, online boutique operator Yang Wendy, 25, of four charges under Section 39B(1)(a) and Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
