KL, Alor Setar towers to light up in orange to mark day for elimination of violence against women


KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur and Alor Setar skyline will have an orange glow when the iconic KL Tower and Alor Setar Tower light up on Thursday (Nov 25) night from 8pm to 11pm to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (IDEVAW).

United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Karima El Korri said the lighting of the two tallest telecommunication towers in Malaysia is part of a global campaign to "Orange the World".
