Companies allowed to import frozen chicken from Dec until Feb next year, says Agriculture Ministry


PUTRAJAYA: The government has allowed companies to import frozen whole chicken from this month until February next year, said the Agriculture and Food Industries Ministry.

MAFI in a statement on Saturday (Dec 4) said it was to cover shortages in chicken supply involving import consideration of up to 10,000 metric tonnes or 5.5 million chickens per month.
